A few weeks ago I was so happy to do a Valentine photo shoot with a couple of other business owners from the Cleveland area. It’s so much fun (and easier) when we all think alike and want to use the same colors, themes and props.
I, of course, provided the Valentine mix of flowers that were very simple hand-tied bouquets of pretty raspberry, cream and blush colored flowers.
Amber, the creator and designer of Something With Love – A Paper Company, provided the beautiful invitations and hand made ribbons. Be sure to check out her pretty websites and blog at SomethingWithLoveCom or SomethingWithLove.Etsy.com. She has a gazillion products to choose from for your custom orders.
Gloria provided the gorgeous handmade wedding veils. Maybe you’ve seen The Mantilla Company at some bridal shows. All of their mantillas are made in Spain from quality European materials. You can find them at www.TheMantillaCompany.com, or facebook, pinterest and instagram.
Frank, a very talented photographer, did all the photography for the photo shoot. Sometimes I think I might like an unusual angle, or just the corner of an item, and lookie here! he’s done just that. Frank has a beautiful blog, frequently updated with his latest wedding and portrait photographs. Look at his pictures at www.GrazianoPhotography.com. Notice how he captured this terribly, cold, snowy, windy day in Cleveland and made it look beautiful?
We were so fortunate to use the store right next door to me, Mitchell Sotka, here on Old Detroit Rd. in Rocky River. Wow, so much to choose from…tables, chairs, trays, drawers, frames, jewelry, silverware…it was like having your very own prop room. And, what photo stylist wouldn’t love that? Mitchell is constantly changing his inventory and does lots of trunk shows. Get the updates at www.MitchellSotka.com. We trashed his store and disrupted his day while he played with Gloria’s newborn baby. Thank you Mitchell!!
How fun is this job?? Thanks for visiting.
