When we finally get through the winter here in Cleveland, our garden flowers start to show a little bit of life. The hyacinths, tete-a-tete daffodils, crocus and then come the early-blooming tulips. I have one tulip left. I think the squirrels and chipmunks ate the rest of them. Every year I wait for that one, gorgeous, red tulip…and before it even bloomed this year – gone! The herd of deer that comes through my yard ate it. Bummer.
I’m so anxious for color in my yard, I may have to settle for some pictures instead.
