Easy Homemade Granola

This is another one of those recipes that I think is delicious and easy. Easy homemade granola. This takes about 10 minutes to make. I love granola, but there’s always added sugar or fructose or dextrose or sucrose or “ose” something-er-other (if it ends in ose it’s sugar). Now, this granola recipe does have honey and peanut butter, but this has got to be better than store-bought with high fructose corn syrup, right?

This Homemade Granola is so easy, no need for pictures, just the recipe.

Side note…I eat this like cereal with almond milk.  Really, really good with almond milk.



Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2 Tablespoons honey
2 Tablespoons peanut butter
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon vanilla
1 cup of oats
(Optional) ½ cup stir-ins (any combination)
Delicious examples of these optional stir-ins are raisins, dried cranberries, walnuts, almonds, pecans, dried apples, etc.


Melt honey and peanut butter together.

Add cinnamon and vanilla.

Stir in oats to above mixture. Add optional stir-ins.

Bake 7-8 minutes on a sprayed cookie sheet.

Remove from oven and cool on cookie tray.

Keep in an airtight container.
